BBQ Ribs With a Twist

BBQ Ribs With A Twist

I guarantee that these ribs will have your Family and Friends coming back for more! This is a very modern bbq recipe version off of an old classic. Enjoy them with this mashed potatoes recipe and you'll be in Heaven!

2 pounds Parboiled Pork Ribs
1 cup Apple Sauce
2 cups Brown Sugar
1/2 cup Lemon Juice
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Pepper
1/2 teaspoon Paprika
1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon

  1. In a large pan thoroughly mix apple sauce, brown sugar, lemon juice, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder and cinnamon.
  2. Over medium to high heat, bring the sauce to the boiling point and continue boiling for one to two minutes.
  3. Place parboiled ribs in an ovenproof dish and brush liberally with the sauce.
  4. Bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
  5. Turn ribs over and liberally bush the underside with the remaining sauce.
  6. Continue baking uncovered for 45 minutes. Serves up to four people.
Serve big ole glasses of Ice Tea and Baked beans and watch people fall out like stuff pigs! Making this recipe is as easy as cooking beef roast on the BBQ. All it takes is a little time and patience and you'll have both down in a jiffy.
